Colpo D'Ala is from a blend of highly selected Barbera and Merlot grapes, coming from the best parcels of the vineyard. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, the result is an elegant, balanced wine, with the structure and pleasing freshness of Barbera combining with the elegance and roundness of Merlot. The French barriques add a refined tannic texture to the wine, increasing its elegance and complexity. Colpo d’Ala is a full-bodied, rich and powerful wine, 14% abv, with excellent aging potential. Perfect for roasted red meat.
