Grignolino is a grape varietal indigenous to Monferrato, one of the oldest in the region. The wine is vinified and aged in stainless steel vats, preserving freshness, yielding a light ruby-red color. On the nose it shows delicate wild strawberry and spice notes; on the palate it reveals an integral tannic structure, as pleasant as it is unexpected. Grignolino, that was at risk of disappearing from Piedmontese viticulture, is now experiencing an important rediscovery by fans of native vines. Perfect for a pasta dish, cured meat, or soft creamy cheese. 13.5% abv.
